Ok, I thought it would be fun to have some movie trivia with a classic that most everyone here has seen a thousand times (...I hope!)

I have 3 stumpers which may require watching the movie again. Yea, like I need to twist your arm!

Stump #1. Kirt(Richard Dreyfus), his ex girlfriend and Bobbie(female friend) are cruising in Bobbies 'new' car she just got (POS VW Bug). Kirt and his ex are in the back seat makin out when Bobbie says, "oh, here comes Kip Poolman, I want to meet him! Say something Kirt!"

She gets Kirt to introduce her as they are cruisin by hangin out the window. He says something like, "Bobbie is madly in love with you and dies at the sight of your rippling biceps!"

Question is: What car is Kip Poolman riding shotgun in? A guy with glasses is driving. You only get two camera shots of it.

Stump #2. Toad is at the liquor store to buy a pint of Ol' Harper. The first person that pulls up is an old man (65 or 70ish). Toad just asks him the time and the old man tells him.

Question is: What kind of car is the old man driving? You only get to see a portion of the driver side.

Stump #3. The cop car that Officer Holestein is in. Is parked in Jerrys Cherries right before he gets the ass yanked out from under it.

Question is: What kind of car is Holestein in?

Hopefully this will be fun, if not, shoot me for tryin! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Maybe you have a good stumper to post after these have been solved?

The guy's name isn't Holstein, they call him that as slang for a "black and white" or a cop car. Holsteins are black and white cows.

The Answer to the Stumpers are

1. 1958 Ford Custom 300

2. 1960 Chevy Impala

3. 1961 Ford Galaxie

The first two are fairly easy the last on you don't get a real good look at the front of the car. The give away that it's a Ford would be the tail lights. Outside of the obvious cars, one of my favorites is the the '55 Studebaker in the scene with Steve and Laurie cruisin' with Curt. That was kinda fun, never looked at the movie that close before. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif Eric

Here's some more trivia...

1. What car from American Graffiti also appeared in the movie Two Lane Blacktop?

2. What type of engine was in Bob Falfa's '55 Chevy?

Chris

Fat Hack

Easy...the 55 Chevy was the same one in both movies.
It had a tunnel-rammed 454 in it, but the engine wasn't shown in Graffiti because it wouldn't have existed back in 1962!

Just like I was when i was a kid "still am". anyway he just is crazy about toad laughs at him through the whole movue but thinks he is the coolest. So Candy clark and bo hopkins are signing autographs at james dean run last weekend. So I ask tyler if he wants an autograph from toady's girlfreind. Obviously they don't look anything like they look in the movie so he has no clue whats goin on. We go up I tell pick out the picture and he picks out a shot of steve, debbie and toad drinking beers. He is ruined alreaddy and only four. she signs the pic and he is speechless cause she is still kinda cute and he is shy then bo says " what kinda car you got boy?" Tyler has not said a word to these guys yet and shouts back at him " a 49 mercury with a oldmobile engine!" Bo says " well you are alreaddy a Pharaoh then boy!" maybee it was a had to be there thing but it was pretty funny too badd toad was not there. he would have been in heaven. sorry if this don't count for trivia

Also... "Dewey" was the slang term for Thomas Downey High school where I went, my mom went (she graduated with George Lucas in 1962 there)... and most of the elders that I grew up living next to as a kid...

Blue Thunder inspired Airwolf?

-Airwolf (1984)
Created by Donald P. Bellisario, who had already had such hits as 'Magnum p.i.' (1980-1988), 'Airwolf' followed the adventures of a hi-tech helicopter and it's reclusive pilot, Stringfellow Hawke.

Bellisario developed Airwolf (early working titles: Blackwolf, Lonewolf), from the loose concept of a third season 'Magnum p.i.' episode he'd previously written, titled 'Two Birds Of A Feather' (1983) - an unsold Pilot about a treasure-hunting, adventure-loving ace combat pilot named Sam Houston Hunter (William Lucking). Bellisario had come up with the concept after Lucking played a similar character in a couple of episodes of another Bellisario series, 'Tales Of The Gold Monkey' (1982-3). After the proposed new series wasn't picked up, Bellisario took the bare bones of the concept, and eventually developed the premise into 'Airwolf'.

Airwolf wasn't the only "super helicopter" on air at the time of it's debut – there was also hi-tech Police surveillance chopper 'Blue Thunder' (1984), spun-off from the 1983 movie of the same name; but even with that series having a big-screen film to kick it off, Airwolf generally emerged to be seen as the "ultimate" super-helicopter series, with - at it's peak - it's clever, cathartic scripts paling Blue Thunder's much wider, less serious take

Fat Hack

Damn, learn something new every day!

I'd always heard that Blue Thunder was the inspiration for Airwolf! I didn't like the TV show (Airwolf), but the movie was pretty cool!!

And if you were going by phonetics, you might have thought he said GALLOW, as in where bad guys were hung by a rope, but no, the script says Gallo, as in CHEAP WINE.

So, between the ORGY and CHEAP WINE references about a secluded local, I'd guess that Galo Dam is where the local BEATS hung out and did there own thing.

So, what's the signifigance?

FWIW, in San Marcos, Texas, my group of pals hung at Five Mile Dam. Way way out and down a 5 mile road. Sorta like getting to Bo Huffs place except all that was at the end was a bunch of drunk college kids.

I remember getting pulled over by a cop when I was in high school and I used the same line on the girl that was with me. Yep... it's Gallo dam... as in the cheap wine... Gallo Winery is located in Modesto, the town where the film was set in... and its' ironic that he says that Milner's licence plate light is out... because there isn't even one on the car!!

The Candy store is a good one... Because it only really showed up on the DVD version and the big screen version (when it came out)... it's a little fuzzy and hard to see it on the VCR version...

Falfa ended up a Motorcycle cop, also whatch the Liquor store scene toad changes shoes, somebody forget which pair he started the scene in. As for falfas car's engine that what ends all the fighting about who was winnin, Falfa couldn't have beaten Milner cause his motor didn't exist in '62 . RumblerRock, I'll have to look for the shoe change with Toad, good eye!

Heres another eye catcher. When John and Carol are cruisin, Carol is telling him her revenge story when she used foam on a guys windows and he "zoomed straight into the canal"

She says, "I still got some, so dont try anything!"

Well, all through the story, up to that point, check out Johns smokes in his sleeve, the back of the Camel pack is facing us.

Then Carol squirts John on the nose with the foam. Right there the pack is showing the front side of the camel pack!

You can tell they had to redo that sceen, and I'm sure the laugh from Carol is genuine, its so funny! lol http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

IMO I think one of the reasons John Milner is liked and loved so much in this movie is not so much his car or hair, but because hes a real 'guy'. He cares for people and isnt a 'badass hell raiser'. He lets Toad cruise with him, walks with Carol in the junkyard and helps Falfa out after beating him.

Hell, he even could of kicked that dudes ass that was pounding Toad in the parking lot, but he slugged him just enough to make him stop, didnt kick him while he was down, just a motion. I thought that was very cool of him.

I dont know about any of you guys or gals, but I shut the movie off right as kirt gets on the plane at the end. I dont like reading about milner getting killed by a drunk driver. I just like old fashion happy endings.

(and hey RumbleRock, I just watched the liquor store sceen, and I didnt see any shoe change(?) is it an obvious difference or are the two pairs of shoes very simular?)

2CV's were nasty little slow cars made in France.

Ok here is an easier one

How much did the sales man want to give Terry for the 58 Impala (this is from my script)
Salesman:
"I'll give you $--- for her on a practically new Corvette... and on top of this, I'm going to knock of -% off the low price of this beautiful Vette. I'm talking about only $xx down and $xx a month. Now how am I able to make you this incredible offer? I'll tell you! I'm forced to move all the sporty cars off the lot as a quick as I can.. Boss's orders. He doesn't want 'em. I think its a mistake, but what can I do? I'm forced to make a deal, so what do you ...."

Terry begins to get worried as the salesman begins to fondle his new Merc. He becomes frightened as the Salesman attemps to drag him over to one of the Vettes. Finally Terry breaks away and jumps back into his car and the salesman continues to race on as Terry drives away.

So what was the down payment and monthly payment?

(Oh ya in the script Terry was supposed to be drving a Merc (Steve was supposed to own a Merc) The Pharoahs a Pontiac

Here is how it describes the first meeting between Terry and Falfa..

MAIN STREET - TERRY - MERCURY
Terry stops for a red light. A very mean-looking 55 chevy (blwon, scooped and slicked) pulls up next to him. The driver, BOB FALFA, has a girlfriend sitting almost on top of him. Terry challenges the chevy by revving his engine.

TRAVELING - DRAG - TERRY, FALFA - MERC & CHEVY
Bob Falfa doesn't even look over. He revs his engine, which sounds like a cross between a Boeing 707 and a SuperChief. Terry can't believe it, he turns down the radio, listens to the monster. But the challenge is n. He sits up, dries his hands on his shirt, grasps the wheel--

the light changes, and the chevy bolts into the intersection in a cloud of smoke creating that incredible Hi-powered dinosaur scream heard earlier in the Drive-In. Terry starts off, coughing through the smoke, eating Falfa's dust.

The Chevy distances Terry in Steve's Merc by four car lengths per second. Terry can't believe it. He finally slows and coasts to the next stop light. Where the Chevy is already waiting for him. Terry looks over into the snotty face of Falfa's girlfriend.

GIRLFRIEND:

Did any one notice the scene when Milner was cruisin and the guys pull up next to him and tell him to watch out for the cop in Jerry's cherry.Carol is in the car with him but he did not pick her up yet.You can see her trying to hide behind Milner. Also the reason Carol was laughing in the coupe was, originally the water balloon was suppose to hit the window next to her and blow up but , instead it hit her so they left it in.I thought the car that didn't fit was about a '67 gold caprice parked on main in one of the cruisin scenes. Also the coupe has a couple scenes where it has wipers and a couple where it don't.No trivia yet but I'll think of some.

From "Born on a Bayou".
"Chasing down a HOO DOO there"
A HOO DOO is a swamp ghost or boogy man.
So he's trying to find something that isn't real...
Chasing down a HOO DOO is like searching for Bigfoot...

There were actually 3 55 Chevys in Two Lane Blacktop.
One of them was used in American Grafitti.
The 55 that was wrecked was one that was bought for American Graffiti, wrecked and sent to the junkyard. It wasn't in Two Lane Blacktop.

What is the skull in Falfa's '55 hanging from??

Also, who is the main character in the movie?

The answer lies in the fact that you hear wolfs howling throughout the movie... when there wasn't a wolf within' earshot of down town Modesto... ever.

Also, why do you hear train whistles and trains stopping in the movie?

The skull, I believe, swung from the rear view mirror.
As the saying goes: the Wolfman is EVERYwhere, but I don't think of him as the main character. But much of the movie does focus on Kurt, the person at a crossroads in life, the extremely introspective writer-type. I can picture Lucas identifying himself most with Kurt, so I'm guessing that's the unknown Main Character.
The trains... living in Turlock, the night train is such a familiar sound. Even living in Redding the night trains made me think of the central-central Valley. Plus, the sound of it intesifies the scene of Kurt sneaking around the car lot, under the cop car.
"Kurt, I hope you'll take a bit of this place with you when you go."
"I think I already have..."

Humbolt, you'll have to watch the movie again... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The main characters are Steve and Kirt... but the wolfman, in my opinion, ties it all together...

And the reason you hear the train is because there is a train track that runs right down through the middle of 9th Street in Modesto... just blocks away from the drag...

And, FWIW, there is no Rear view mirror in the '55...

Ok, last question... what is the name of the theater in the Movie... hint, it was the boyhood theater of George Lucas (I saw Pinochio there when I was a kid), it is still there and being renovated, and Lucas has an exact duplicate of it at his Skywalker Ranch...

According to the extras on the DVD version (a must have).

Q: Why does Toad crash the Vespa.

A: He was meant to leave it in top gear and pop the clutch so it would just jerk a little bit, but he mistakenly put it in first, popped the clutch and it took off. That's why it looks so realistic, because it WAS! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

One of the posts also mentions that the studios were covered over. That's not correct. The ENTIRE film was actually shot at night, with the cinematographer flying up from his day job to shoot AG. He must have had some really good medication happening!

In the end it worked out real good as everyone looked completely stuffed after filming nights for six weeks, so when the sun's coming up after everyone had been up all night, all the actors looked like they'd been up all night. THEY HAD BEEN and then some!

I might have to go watch it again tonight.

You know... I've watched the movie more than most, and what it seems like on this thread, not as much as some! I had no IDEA this post would be such a big hit, but I'm very pleased to see so many of you enjoy this classic!

Right when I see Mels Drive-in and 'rock around the clock' kicks in, I just feel at peace.

Heres a general question for everyone. Who were your favorite charactors in the film if you could only pick 3, and why?

My first pick would have to be the obvious one, Milner. I liked him for the obvious reasons too. I think one of the best shot scenes of Milner is right at the gas station, before he goes off to paradise road. Looking down inside the window at John as he smokes.... too cool http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Second would be Toad. You gotta love that guy, he never gives up, and never sees himself as a nerd.

Third would be the leader of the Pharoahs. Hes way cool as well, and not a bully or a show off. I just wish there was more of that guy and his 'gang' in the movie.

Anyway those are my picks in my own opinion. Whats yours? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

1. Bob Falfa...He was the bold and cocky challenger come to town for a showdown with local hero! His car was bar-none the BADDEST ride in the movie and woulda flat SMOKED that chicken coupe if the Rules of Hollywood would allow the outlaw to beat the "good guy" once in a while! Hell, even Milner knew he was gettin' his hat handed to him!!

2. The lead Pharoh dude... Another "bad guy" of sorts, but one that we all secretly admire! He had the Look, the Attitude, and the Balls...the Real Deal in a satin jacket!

3. Toad...He was so pathetic and reeked of such geekdom that you just had to sorta automatically LIKE the guy! He rode a scooter while others had cars, and he went clumsily along through his night being the token Dork...but ended up with the hottest gal in the movie, anyway!

Those were my three faves...now the three I liked LEAST...

1. Steve Bollander...what a self-absorbed prick! Obviously a rich kid used to getting his way. Lame as shit. Even called his late model custom a "Rod" through the whole movie. Didn't deserve the car OR Cindy Williams! Prick!

2. Richard Dreyfuss' character...added little or nothing to the story. Spent his time trying to fit in with guys way cooler than him and chasing a pipe dream in a white 56 T-bird. Didn't know what he was gonna do from one minute to the next and just sorta took up space on the screen. Drove a lame ass import that didn't run worth crap, too!

3. Holstein...What a lousy cop! ROSCO had more integrity and backbone than this guy! A King-Shit Prick who would be NOTHING without his gun and badge...I bet Toad coulda kicked his ass! Movie cops need to command RESPECT...like Buford T Justice or Buford Pusser, to name a couple!

Hey, not exactly the way most Graffiti Heads will see it, but those are my picks, since ya asked!!

Three favorite characters.

1. Milner...nuff said.
2. Toad, for reasons stated above.
3. Wolfman...cause he set the tone, and the scene with him and Curt, when Curt leaves the station, and peeks in and sees him on the mike gave me goosebumps.

Of course AG was great!

It had to be. It was sorta Lucas' last chance to do well at the studio. And.....he made the hat trick. It's well known history that the success of AG allowed him to make the somewhat experimental and fantastically successful STAR WARS. Of course then he went on to participate in "1941"....

How many local cars can you remember that were perfectly done? Even Miners coupe was rough around the edges, like it should have been. Only the '55 really came across as a well done rich kids car.Just my opinion.

There are actually two movie advertising goofs. When Milner is getting the ticket, Cabaret is being advertised. Cabaret was a current movie WHILE AG WAS BEING FILMED in '72.

The other was that the mocked up advertising in front of the theater was for Dementia 13 that was released in spring of '63 half a year after the setting of AG.

Take a look at the AG anachronisms noted on the www.imdb.com (http://www.imdb.com) website. Between the set and the songs there are quite a few.

Back to the Pharoes, a buddy's dad grew up in the valley around Modesto and says the Pharoes are based on a real club that was mostly Mexican guys with customs etc..says they were pretty bad ass. He says that AG really does catch the spirit of the place and the time, refrences real places people hung out like Sam was talking about (the dam etc). I remember seeing More AG years ago and crying when Toad and the head of the Pharoes are in Nam and he gets killed, it just sucked.
My favorite people in the movie are: Milner, Toad, Falfa (even if he is kinda a dick)
I think they could have left Steve and his girlfriend out of the movie as far as I'm concerned, they just bugged me.

Not around here anyway...
The local chapter of Pharoahs (inliner mostly lowrider club) would take a dim view of it unless you were a member, and even then they wouldn't be too happy about a member wearing their colors as a halloween costume.. The most ironic bit of trivia,is that Milner (Paul Lemat) was the only one of the main characters to not "make it" in the movie business.A cult icon to us,but apparently for some reason never did another movie. As far as I know anyway.

While at Viva earlier this year,we rode an elevator with a guy wearing a car club jacket from Colorado.I asked him if he was going to the show,he says "Oh,out at the Goldcoast?" " Yeah"....That's all he said.We get out there, and right near the entrance was a tent. This guy was sitting there...took me a minute,I'll be damn, there sits Milner.I was a foot away from him on an eleveator, saw the movie at least 20 times and didn't recognize him.I guess 30 years, some booze, some drugs will change a person.Still a good memeory.

Easy...the 55 Chevy was the same one in both movies.
It had a tunnel-rammed 454 in it, but the engine wasn't shown in Graffiti because it wouldn't have existed back in 1962!

Actually it was the #1 Two Lane car that had a L88 Chevy 427 with L89 heads, and they swapped on a stock highrise and holley carb for American Graffitti. Its the car they flip the front end on at the gas station where you can see the aluminum heads, Ruth built headers and front suspension, and the tunnel ram.

The #2 car had a crate 454 in it...considering the only (crate I know of) 454 at that time was the LS7...

There were actually 3 55 Chevys in Two Lane Blacktop.
One of them was used in American Grafitti.
The 55 that was wrecked was one that was bought for American Graffiti, wrecked and sent to the junkyard. It wasn't in Two Lane Blacktop.

In two lane:

#1 car was the outsideshot car that was used for most of the driving scenes. It was used in AG. Then it was heavily modified, but still exists in something similar to its AG guise.

#2 car was the camera car - still exists and has been restored to its Two Lane Livery. Still has all the camera mounts on it.

#3 car was the rollover car, never used. Had a full roll cage in it but was never used in Two lane.

The #1 car was redone for AG and the #3 car was the car that was rolled at the end. Some people say the #2 car was used as a camera car again in AG, but others don't.

Pharaohs Merc
Milner's Coupe
Bobbi's VW (Just kidding!)
There's a coupe w/ scallops that rolls by. That's #3.

Anyone else notice that Paul LeMat and Candy Clark were both in Deuce Coupe (1992)?

When in high school a bunch of us got jackets that said Pharaohs. Real original of us, but we loved the movie. And this was in the early 80s when it was almost never shown on TV and before home video. At least that any of our families could afford. The library had the screenplay in paperback. I bet I checked it out a hundred times.

My dad knows a guy named George from Modesto. He would always bring Dad See's Candy. I never noticed that was in the movie! George (not Lucas) went to school with Lucas. I think he said Lucas had a Plymouth or Dodge coupe of some kind. Modesto was planning on puting up a statue or something of Lucas last time I talked to them and George's wife was mad about it. She said Lucas never gives Modesto the time of day, he just ignores the town now.

I love the scene where Milner stops by the shop to uncap his headers, very cool. I have thought about this movie and the characters probably way too much over the years, I always think when Milner gives his shift knob away towards the end of the movie when he drops Carol off, that it would suck to drag race with no shift knob. I was on vacation in calif. this summer and ate at MELS Diner on Van Nyes. Was that where it was realy filmed? Boy its changed a lot since then!

Actually, the one that the film was shot @ was in the city of San Francisco, It's now a gas station & you can see the building with all of the windows that was in the background accross the street. It was closed before the shoot, It had been and was slated for demolition in 1972, George Lucas talked his way into renting it just for adequate visual effect. I believe that there are now 3 in San Francisco now & actually 4 in L.A. if you count the one @ Universal Studios lot. It is open to the public & serves up burgers & fries & has a 57 Chevy with hacked off top to make it into a converible out front.

In the movie, the characters never refered to it as Mel's Drive-In. Just Burger City.
On another note interest. Only one night of filming was done in San Rafeal,The city wouldn't give the producers another permit, so another small town had to be found pronto & Petaluma welcomed the film with open arms.
Paradise Road is actually Frietas Rd, & now has a golf course & houses on one side.
Just like everywhere, things change,Mr Developer comes in & changes stuff around. 33yrs ago is a long time ago. I remember seeing this movie for the 1st time when I was like 9yrs old @ the Monterey Park Edwards Theater=now demo'd. I was hooked. I knew that I had ta get a car like John's,Bob's Steve's Joe the Pharoah! I built models of all of them before I was 10.
The next year I see a flamed black 3W 34 Ford cruising on Las Tunas Dr.in San Gabriel, didn't know who the owner was, Stopped me on my bike dead in my tracks.
Didn't see it again for a while, but this time it was on TV with a guy Martin Sheen behind the wheel. The car had mags on it when I saw it, now it had red steelies & caps. Saw the previews, watched the movie intently, didn't see it again until I got a copy on VHS from Cal Tanaka in 1988 with 1st 10 mins gone=oh well, Got a complete copy for my birthday a few yrs back.
One thing that I remember when my brother & I were through watching that night in 1974 was that my brother said he knew where the car was, Man it was like a mile & half away in Temple City. We found out that Pete didn't have the car anymore, because they used the money to buy stuff for the business, Chris Carrier on the East Coast now owned it. He sold it back to the company in 1981 & when the co. was sold in 86 the car went with it.
Without these two movies & Happy Days I probably would have ended up a normal guy, now I'm just plain nuts;).
Cars make big impressions on lil guys!!!

There is now also a Mel's in Placerville CA.

My Grandma lived in Petalum in the '60s and '70s. My Aunt and Uncle both graduated from Petaluma High School in '65. Jerry's Cherries, the lot where the cop car shenannagans occured, is two doors down from the toy store that my Grandma would take me to when I visited. That part of town still looked pretty much the same the last time I was there in '91. Freitas road is the spot the locals would drag race during my Aunt and Uncle's high school days.

I saw the movie for the first time at the Century 22 theatre in San Jose CA. and Milner's coupe on display in the lobby. really bitchin'. I was 12 years old and already had loved old cars from about the age of 2, but after seeing this movie, I could't wait to get my driver's license so I could go cruzin'.

Now, some loosely related trivia what TV show did Happy Days spin off from?

jalopy43
11-23-2005, 08:28 AM
Happy Day's was spun-off,from an episode, from 'love american style". The episode had Ron Howard, playing close to the Richard Cunningham charachter. He was trying to impress a girl, into dating him, because his family had just got one of those new TV things. BTW in my senior year I was the only 'greaser' with slicked back hair, cuffed levis, driving a lowered, primered shoebox ,with oldies on the 8 track. Yes, I invented the 'old skchool' comeback:DSparky

I always knew it was misspelled, but I never knew why, just guessed that the drop-outs didn't know how to spell it. So what is the answer to why?

What is the true spelling of the Medesto Pharaoh chapter that is in AG ? ( its spelled wrong in the movie)
And why?

Unrelated but..... TVLand is sucking more and more. I want a network with nothing after 1973. TV shows by day and B movies at night. Probably not a good idea, real life needs most of my attention!

AG is a good movie, MAG kinda bites with exception to the drags.

"It's a MAD, MAD, MAD, MAD world" rules, however.

Yep you got it right .. the guys who started the club spelled it Pharoahs which is of course wrong . They spelled it correct in the movie . The Pharoahs of medesto still exist and also many many other clubs going by Pharaohs which I am one of

One thing I always wondered about was the scene were Flafa and toad pull up to the light.

Then falfa asks about milner and tells toad hes looking for him.

When falfa peels away from the light, theres a loud bang sorta like a shotgun.

It was pretty loud and Whatever it was, it didnt sound healthy.

Ok You move buffs and AG buffs, I have plowed through all the posts and I can't believe know one has come up with this one, Ok steve's car question

-Dean

they were size 8.00/8.50-14 the tire brand were JC Penney "Scat Tracs"

Come on guy's this should be a easy one to answere, there is a part of the car carried over to another movie and also can you name the movie.

And one last stumper who was the girl who asked to talk to the teacher at the hope outside when the teacher ( who offerd curt a smoke) was talking to curt and for an extra 100 points what famous guy is she married to. I believe the sound you hear is the sound of the editing guys cutting the beginning sounds of a top fuel dragster launching.

next time you listen to it, picture a funny car hole shot, and youre only allowed to listen to the sounds of the run AFTER the back tire rolls past the tree.

if you pay attenchin to Harrison Fords Malenium Falkin right between him and chubaka are the fuzzy dice hagging from the upper councel, one thing about Lucas is when he makes a new movie he always carries something over from the last movie hence the THX138 which was his first movie THX1138. Just a little fun there but it's kinda cool he does that. Chris
