My name is Matthew maiers AKA crescentwrencher. im into accurately restored cars and traditional hotrods. with the information i will gather from this forum i wish to build my own lake style iron pounder. i am currently restoring a 23 t so im restricted as to starting a new project. but i want to learn as much as i can so im ready. i really like the rods with a model a coupe body, 32 frame, and 32 cowl, and a chopped top. i am experienced with engines, i know how they work and i have rebuilt small engines, and am currently rebuilding my model t engine. so im not exactly fresh, except ive never been in an overhead valve engine so bear with me.

Hello all,
New member here; my name is Dan better known as "suicidedoors".
Been building hot rods for a number of years, usually pre '60 years. Stopped building cars a few years back. Now I'm back doing it again.
I have been reading the articles here, good stuff. I have a '30 Ford Sedan now, just got it and ready to start. But keeping it mostly stock this time except for a few modern safety items.
Keep up the good work and really enjoy the information/input that goes on in the forum. You can never learn enough !
