Drove the 51 last night! Got to say a few Thank yous

I picked up the Chebby from Hotwheels shop last night.
Hotwheel did soooo much to help me out with this thing.
I promise I'll take some pics of the tranny mount he fab up, it's a really great piece.

With the tranny mounted solid there was only one thing left to do when I got her home. Drive her off the trailer.

I put it in reverse and slowly let off the breaks , there she went all 10 feet into the garage. One small exiting step.

I thought that's good that’s as far as I need to go right now. All I need is exhaust and to replace some nuts and bolts and it’s ready to take a real maiden trip.

I just drove down the block and back, but what a feeling when It all works!

The other good news is I sold the 86 camaro wendsday night.

I can't say I was sorry to see it go, but it was a good $800 driver for a year and a half and I got $700 cash for it, not bad.

Just ordered spring bushings for the 51, need to get some kingpins, Flat-top just pm'd me and has a rear dump manifold for the drivers side. Man It's getting really close.

Might just be finished (paint and all) at the next roundup.
