picked up PINBALL'S 59 Chev today, better pics than before..

here she is. loaded her up and drug her to the car wash on the way over here to my "rust ranch" http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif. she's sittin between Donzie's 50 and CherryBlossom's Bug right now but Donzie's car will be in the garage in the next couple days (still gotta clean the damn place). we bought new plugs, wires, , coil, points and condensor (cap and rotor look like new inside). installed all but the plugs and still can't get a spark. the coil is kinda jury rig wired (from before) so i'm not sure if everything is hooked up right or not. been a long time since i worked on a motor so we have to crack open a book and finger it all out.

anywho, you could'nt have bought a car from a nicer guy. he threw in the battery from is GTX (looks new) so Pinball would'nt have to buy one, then when he noticed his wife put the selling price on the title (she did'nt know any better), he gave Chris back half of what the tax on the selling price will be. how completely COOL!!!

ok, he is in need of: the chrome from the sides of the fins on the quarter panels (he has the pieces on the rear doors), the trim around the front marker lights to the sides of the hood vents, a horn ring, a lower front valance (under front bumper) and the valance piece from under the rear bumper on the driver side (small sheet metal part, one on each side but that side is missing) and maybe the chrome from above and below the rear window... anyone have???

yes i now have wayyy to may cars! but hey i got the 2x1 intake and headers if he wants to purchase them off me that way i can afford the missing sheet metal on the wives new 68 chevelle i just bought two days ago!!...thats a sweet 59 it has floors even!!!
