I'm new to the forum and was just wonder whats up with the "STICKY"...
I mean the auction for an example...does the money go to the HAMB or does that person get it? Can anyone post here?
The tech section...do you submit an idea and it gets picked to be posted...but isn't that redundant cause its already posted?
Just thought that maybe someone can help out the FNG.
By the way...how many post's do you have to have to get rid of that deal. I don't like being the FNG!
And I don't want to buy an Alliance Memebership just yet...low on the flow.
Thanks for anyones help here!

MOST of the time the "auction" is for/to benifit the HAMB. Members do an auction when/if they have something they no long need, and want to use that item to raise money for the HAMB. All done volunteer like. Anyone can place an auction post, use the same type of wording that you see being used and it will catch a moderators eye and they are the ones that place it in "sticky" statis.

Yes.

You place a tech post in the regular area and if Paul, the tech editor, feels it's worthy of achieving in the tech forum he will move it there.

Hope this helps

Don't worry so much about what "lable" you've got. Read and learn, that's the idea. When you've got something worthwhile to contribute, then post it.

If/when you plan on buying anything from any of the Alliance Vendors, check out the difference in saving if you joined. Sometimes the full cost of the Alliance memebership is offset in savings.
