Bitter Red

My name's Jessica and I'm new to the H.A.M.B. I read the guidlines so, I'll do what I was told and post here first!
I'm 31, been married for a LONG time, have two kids and have live in Georgia most of my life. I love '65 and older hot rods....and not the kind that're trailered. Cars are meant to be driven like hell not just shown. I love good ol' rock-n-roll, drinkin' gin and tonics, tattoos and the smell of burnin' rubber and hi-test gasoline. I'm Irish and all the things that go with it. I've been told I'm hateful....I even got an award for being the most "Hateful Redhead" and the Hotrodz and Hillbillies carshow a few weeks ago! I think I'm actually one of the awesomest people......EVER!
My first car was a '62 2dr. Comet. I loved it. I only had it for 6 months before some kid in a mint '65 Mustang ran off the road and took my car with him. He totaled my car....bastard. I swore, one day I would have another one.
Spring forward fourteen years later..... now I have a 1963 1/2 S-22 Mercury Comet Hardtop Fastback (Sportster). She's pretty amazing. A little rusty and little dirty and you can feel the springs in the seat pokin' you in the butt when you sit down. She even has a leopard print tablecloth for a headliner, because I don't feel like takin' the glass out to put the headliner in until I get new rubber. That's my style. If it ain't right fix it, if it ain't perfect, oh well.
I also have a '63 Comet 4 dr. Sedan. We put a lot of blood and sweat into that car, until I came across the S-22. All was lost on the 4 dr. Now, it's gotta go. It needs a new home, because I ain't got the room anymore!
So, that's me.
