Looks like you've got all kinds of fun stuff to play with there. I like the roadster's stance -- tall bias-ply can't be beat.

thanks for all the good comment everyone...i'll snap a few shots of the other stuff tomorrow....as for copying me...its a boxed A frame stepped 2 inches and crossmember lowered .75 and the top of the rear quarters are sport coupe bottom half roadster/homemade top half is getting a bodyline all the way around from 3/4 tubing split in half and then a 90 bent cap to meet the interior pannels...door are sport coupe..thinned shortened, shortened 3 inches and 31 door bottoms on them...the cowl is roadster posts..gas tank from a town sedan and the sport coupe side pannels...whole cowl moved back 3 inches ...its all channeled 4 inches...to the bottom of the frame...also im putting in the quarters about 1.5 inches to make it so theres not a kink where the door meets the 1/4...its getting a hallock style windsheild...cocacola sign for a hood and a 32 shell....ive got a 274 merc flathead 39 trans and 3.78 "47 rear the frame is extended to meet the rear spring..all on 36 wide 5's and 39 brakes...its a 32 commercial axle dropped a few inches with split 37 bones and spindles...thats all i can think of right now....it started as a sport coupe set-up like a gasser with a small block ford motor and c4 tranny and 8 inch rear...the guy sold it cause he wanted a roadster...i bought it cause i wanted a roadster...guess i saw something he didn't!...i donlt like the long deck area on 29 roadsters so i thought this one would correct that...didnt realize all the work is be doing to make the proportions look right...oh well hopefully it'll be worth it in the end

Zach, The project looks fine. Could you take some more detailed close up photos of all the work you just listed? That is a lot of work.

You should throw some coffee cans on the ends of those torque tubes to keep the rain out. Be sure to use steel ones. Plastic tubs and plastic bags won't last in the sun real long and tend to blow off. Gotta keep that cool stuff in good shape!!!

thanks cornfed for the can advice...i keep procrastonating about that...the funny thing is that i have one on the nice 36 rear i have inside....but none outside...i'll try to take some more pics tomorrow of the car..side shots and whatnot if i roll it outside...depends on weather....shiny...(ive gotta cut the cowl posts and move the body line up 1-3/4 inches to match the heigth of my quarters and body line on my doors...oh and at work yesterday...my boss asked me "what the hell is a flat black bastard")
