I found these Bear Claws at a swap meet, the guy only had 2 brand new ones and forgot were he got them. Have you ever seen them before? Do you know who sells them? I need 1 more.
They are real neat, an original handle works perfect with them.

Not sure if they are the same or not, but the trucking company I work for uses International trucks and those latches look the same as the ones used by International. Big burly sturdy Sonsofbitches.

I keep telling everyone that they can buy bear claw latches here in Portland and most likly anywhere there is a major supplier for $8.00 and the pins are $1.00
I'll check my catalog and see if they show those

They look like the ones in my glass 34 body. You can probably get them from A&C autos in Buffalo NY. Talk to Sonny and tell him big Mike from Canada told ya. Here's a link: http://www.acautos.com/34ford.php

I guess I should have posted this again (8th time)

KEN R HUMKE CO. 1-503-222-9741

these latchs come as left and right so you need to specify pairs last ones I bought were $8.00 ea. plus a dollar for the pins. and don't act like the magazine ads are screwing you. think how many pairs you would have to sell to pay for the ads before you started making a profit.

Yeah, I've bought 'em at the Case dealer for work equiptment but forget the price... everybody gets a different price anyway. We buy a lotta parts and pieces of equiptment at Case so we get a pretty large price break...too bad it won't transfer down to me.

I'm bumping this up because it's that time that I need some bear claws, and I did a search for this thread.

Hope it helps someone else out.

Order a catalog from Austin Hardware.
