Hilborn Q, Rally Enterprises in plano Texas.......crooks?!

A Pal of mine has been waiting for his 4 port Hilborn for several months. He ordered it through Rally Ent in Plano Texas. He has been in contact with Hilborn throughout the whole deal as his system was being built. Now when it was supposed to ship, Hilborn informs him that Rally has not paid for the system yet. Rally has had his money for SEVERAL MONTHS! Also, at least two other Hilborn Systems are waiting for shipment to their owners at Hilborn that were bought and I assume paid for already with this joker in Plano.!!!!!

Hilborn aslo stated this week that they sent some product to Rally to borrow for an event display that can not get him to send back.................this is unpaid for stuff!

Anyone know this crook? I know the Texas HAMBers are straight shooters, any ideas on this? My pal is out close to 3K at the moment. This 4 port was for his wifes BBC Blown Drag car.

Holy #@$% I thought I was the only one.

Long story short this guys Hemi parts suck too. I bought water pump adapters and a timing cover, long story short and 3 years almost later they don't fit and alot of promises have been made for return or exchange. Now he's not returning my calls either. So i've just given up. But Hambers beware this guys an asshole supremo.

Well, guys like this hit the end of the rope before they disappear. My pal AND Hilborn cant get in touch with him either. Only a matter of time before he jets..........you got his REAL NAME? Or an ASSUMED NAME?

I have bought a few things from them. Some parts for my supercharger were bought from them. They have been super nice to me and have shipped items as they say they would.

The last thing I bought from them, an adapter to put a 727 behind a 392 was machined incorrectly. I had to put it on a mill and clearance one side for the flexplate. I also bought a torque converter($350) from them and it didnt bolt up, and when I called them, they sent me a Hughes torque converter($800) to replace it..no charge. So I can say they did some stuff wrong but always made it up.

I would say there may be non-business related problems going on...

JAson, I guessed as much, but that doesnt make CREDIT CARD FRAUD a lesser crime! If you know the guy, pass the word, product paid for should be delivered.

Sounds familiar. I ordered my adjustable rocker set, pushrods, and lifters from him. Took forever and when all was said and done he never did come up with the pushrods. I ordered them directly from Smith Bros myself. He never returned my calls or emails about refunding the money for the pushrods so I contested the Visa bill. Sent them all the info including the receipt from Smith brothers and Visa got my money back for me. I will NEVER do business with this clown again.

From this short list, the 'further' away the customer,the less satisfaction/more hassle stand's out. Mabe more will read and have an input. But when week's turn to month's and no contact to let (you) the customer know what IS going on.....is suspect.Good luck to you all.

I was looking at a two port system for a 4/71 from them. After doing some research I saw that Hilborn used the same computer/controler. The guy at Rally claimed they made the Hilborn sold complete systems. Does anyone know if that true? I have not contacted Hilborn direct about it yet.

I would like to know if you guys have any experience with an alternative to these guys.

Miles, from what I know you can get ALL the parts right from Hilborn, he is just a dealer. I may be wrong but that is how it was 'splained to me
