Bass, I was told it was 60 bucks to register for the car, show dont know bout the swap meet. Whats the skinny. I think me and Bubba will be out saturday.

I am going to drive the old MBU PU to work Friday, and since I drive past the Speedway twice a day I was going to stop Friday afternoon.

I have a Family Reunion most of the Day Saturday and then the Wise County club has it's last show of the year that evening.
IF anyone wants to swing by from 4PM to dark Saturday evening in Decatur it's only 10 bucks to enter and ALL money from the show goes to a childrens hospital.

I think if you are already a member it is $30. I think if you don't want to become a member it's a little less than $60. It seems to me it was $40 or $45 last year for show reg. without joining Goodguys.
I'll probably do the swap meet also...I'm not sure yet.
What does everybody think about having a small impromptu BBQ/ beer drinking/ bullshit session at my house on Saturday night? It's only 5 min. from Texas Motor Speedway...and I've got enough room to park a least 20 cars. The neighbors are cool about me raising hell because we are practically in the country.
The offer's on the table...let me know if anybody wants to do it. Oh yeah..it'll have to be BYOB, but I'll supply the hamburger stuff. Maybe even some Earl Campbell hot links.

You have to pay for the swap meet space at the Doral Hotel next to the track.
I technically live in Flower Mound, but the house is really only a couple of miles from Roanoke, North Lake, or Argyle. Off of 1171 just past 377 on Lake Grapevine.
If I can get about 10 people to confirm, I'll call it a done deal, and we'll eat some burgers and drink some beer.

I'm in for trashing the Bass layer, um urr, BBQ and refreshments at Brian's house.
I might go up Friday after work to get signed in so I don't have to mess with it Sat. Brian if you only do the swap I can't put you into the wall again.

I will be there. The '49 is on jackstands for another week. I am doing some shit to my wheels (look for a pic post soon). Actually all of the Coollow cars are on jackstands. We is gearin' up for Sherman... Scored some free admission tickets, so I will just be hanging out with the 'Lows and looking at mullets... Se you guys Saturday.
Hey for a measley $100 bucks you can ride shotgun 4 laps around the track in a Nascar-mobile...
$25 bucks a lap... hmmm 4 laps or 5 lap dances?

Yep...I'm gonna make some burgers and stuff. Anybody that wants to come over, feel free to do so. I imagine around 6:00 would be cool. It's pretty easy to find, here's directions:
Take I-35 north from the Texas Motor Speedway. You'll take the second exit after the track which is FM 1171. Go right towards Flower Mound/ Lewisville (east...about 3 miles) on 1171 over the railroad tracks and straight through the stoplight at HWY 377. After you pass the stoplight you will go through two curves and start up a hill. Turn right on Old Crosstimbers at the start of the hill (this is about 1.5 miles after the stoplight). Follow Old Crosstimbers through a hard left then right and you will go straight towards the house (light blue 2 story)...you can't miss it. The address is 9225 Choctaw Trail, Flower Mound...if you want to do a Yahoo map.
It's going to be just a simple burger eating, beer drinking get together...nothing fancy. You might want to bring a lawn chair, and a few beers. See ya there!
