I am not real up on them but I saw some holleys at pate that were very similair to a 97 and also I think the 94s are too.

Stupid question maybe, but did all the three bolt carbs have the same bolt hole spacing, that is, could you interchange a 3-bolt Stromberg with a 97 Holley on the same manifold??

The Holleys and Strombergs both have the same bolt pattern.

Bases are the same but spacing on 3 carb setups is sometimes tight. If you want to be able to run either 97's or 94's on a flatty, get the Edelbrock 3 deuces manifold instead of the Offy or grind the carbs so they clear each other. The Offy puts the carbs closer together.
