time to get Pinball's head so full of ideas he don't which way he's going http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif. we're pickin up his very nice 59 BelAir more door this thursday and he wants to make it a "kustom". not that these big finned land yachts need alot, but lets see what people have done to these babies(and the 60 Chevs as well, since they are kinda similar). i'll get the ball rollin with a couple i just found on the net...

Mikes51, that ElCamino is "THE Shit"!!! i thought Pinbal was nuts when he mentioned changing the grill out on the 59 but that Merc grill and head lights is the BOMB!! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif one thing i HATE about some of these kustoms is when they shave the openings on the front of the hood. the treatmetn on the primered ElCo is sweet though... keep em comin...

here it is the day i bought it... rust, and quite a bit of bondo and NEWSPAPER.

now the front end is all torn apart while Magnet and I are trying to fix everything. I hope to have it back on the road in time for the Cheaters show, but you never know. I'd post Django's super secret photoshop version of how it's gonna look, but it's, well, super secret!

I have a pic at home of a 59 from the 60s with a 58/59 buick grill in place of the stock grill/vents. I'll try to scan it in tonight
