Anything going on around Tucson this next week? I'll be out visiting family for a few days. Cruise-ins, maybe?

Thanks, Kinky6 http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

As far as I know there is nothing yet other than the drag strip for test and tune. Let make some calls on Monday and will see what we can come up with for ya.

Hey, Denise,

The truck is running w/ the TH350 auto again, thanks. (Lost 3-4 gear in my 700R4 while I was at the NHRR). Drive to AZ, in that thing, w/ no A/C? LOL, its a wonder they're getting me to fly out there this time of year!

Last weekend, my little sister has tied the knot for the second time around at that big bluegrass festival in Telluride, CO.; and she has invited her siblings out for a few days. I'll be there from the 29th -4th.

Hey, Deyo, thanks for the cruise info. Its always nice to check out the car scene when you're someplace different. I'll be driving the the Taurus 4-door, or whatever Alamo is renting me....

Kinky, strap one on and grow a pair, man! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif I don't have A/C in either of my vehicles. You're only going to Tucson, it's nice and chilly down there! It's a good 10 degrees cooler than PHX, from what I hear.
Besides, It's DRY heat for shit's sake!

If you have unlimited mileage on El Tauro, you might consider coming up to the Scottsdale Pavillions show on Saturday night. Usually a pretty good showing. The only thing is that with the "hot" weather alot of people don't get there until after dark, which is around 7:30-8. The place usually clears out a little after 9. If you think you'll be there, send me a PM and I'll give you a number to get ahold of me. It looks like OldCarPilot from Dallas will be in town for the cruise, too.

DRY Heat! You're cracking me up! Here in L.A. (Lower Alabama) we have a coping mechanism for the not-so-dry heat - its called F'in' stay indoors! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Not to mention having to drive through the not-so-dry heat of Mississippi, Louisiana, and east Texas along the way. Oh, baby!

Seriously, I don't have time to drive out there. If I could push my flight back another day I would, but they want more $ for that. I'll send you a PM; maybe I can get up there.

Just yanking your chain. I don't trust my car to make it to the grocery store, much less halfway across the continent.
Keep me posted if you think you'll make it up.
Friday nights most of the HAMBers in the area meet at the 35th Ave and Northern cruise in Phoenix.

Maybe the Tucson boys could cruise up, too???
