what is a good way to easily and cheaply make some kind of steering? i have a wheel and im getting my steering box hopefully tommarrow, i think i can figure out how to connect the wheel to the box easily enough with 1" tubing and knuckle joints. but fromthe box on i have no idea what i am doing. does anyone have any pics showing how they did it? thanks, kevin

If you don't know what your doing...steering isn't the place to learn fabrication.
I usually don't vote for the aftermarket, but in your case, with the job your trying to pull off....buy the WHOLE kit.
SERIOUSLY.
Screwed up steering kills people!

What he said if it's true except I know people who don't know what steering looks like that are retired shipyard welders, so I'll give ya the benefit of the doubt.
Start looking at pics of rods at carnut.com and come back with some particulars.
Also you can click on "My Home" at the upper part of this page and go back and fix that mountain(d)in your sign in to mountains http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
