just came from an old Ford board and a guy there claims this is only a small part of the guys collection. Says the guy still has another 90 intakes.

If any one can help the engine with the blower on the lower right on the floor are those just covers on the heads or is it a overhead conversion? If anyone knows what type of conversion is it please tell me. Thank you..

I think the blower is a Scott and covers on the heads.

The engine on the floor has a s.c.o.t. blower and a set of Thickstun head covers. Theres another guy out there somewhere by the name of Floyd Hulegaard ,I think, who has hundreds of flathead intakes in his collection, probably the most of anyone i've seen. There was an article years and years ago that showed what he had and it was mind blowing. Nice wall art for the deep pocketed types, but a lot of those early manifolds didn't work all that well. Would be nice to see someone open a speed equipment museum for this type of thing.

Somebody out there re-makes those Thickstun head covers too.
I think they were originally for marine use...?

Last year at the Indy swap meet a guy from St. Louis bought 3 flathead intakes from me. He came back this year and bought 3 more, said he didn't have them in his collection. Make you wonder how many guys like this is around. The head covers are thicksun, I have a set layed back.

I just looked at this on Ebay and it is up to $19900 with 4+ days to go, reserve not met! That is over $300 per manifold average. Now I know that there are a lot of rare ones in there, but there have to be a lot of more $50 to $100 ones. Talk about paying TOP dollar. Yikes!!! Maybe I am just jealous, I dont have 20 large to buy a few intakes.
