Just another reason to leave.
PC fucks make me sick. Why not donate your time to a soup kitchen, or meals on wheels, or anything but noooo you have to drive around and find things you hate about others property.

Welcome to a communist society.

Sorry here I go again. Look at these two stories also on the same page:

Click it or Ticket
Missouri's Click it or Ticket program is a success, with over 15,000 tickets issued.
Translation = Mo Money, Mo Money

Allegations of Police Abuse Cause Officer to Resign

Communist State. Please stop this shit before I have to move into the hills and start shooting at people when they cross into my compound.

Well, I hate to say it but it's mostly the ultra consumerist/capitalist folks who are all about image and not running down their property value. They usually need a spotless playspace for their too many children that they now discover that they didn't want to have and they don't want our overspray drifting onto their $40k DVD havin' minivans. And they certainly don't want our alternative appearances messing up the 'curb appeal' of the new home they just built on the lot they recently overpaid for, where the fixed income old lady used to live until the taxes got so high she had to sell to them, move, and eat dog food.

But otherwise I'm hip. Maybe my compound can be next to your's. I promise not to fire my .50s into it and we can trade parts. LOL

Springfield's not that bad, neither is MO as a state. I live in a smaller town in MO, and the only thing I worry about is speeding. I have straight pipes, and my car is louder than all get out. Local cop lives behind me, he hasn't said a word. Been thru Springtown many a time, and it's not half as bad as you all are making it sound like. Sure it's got its problems, what city/town/burb doesn't?

Gonna do a Jerry Springer final thought thing here, seeing as how none of you live in Springfield. Two acronyms: STFU and GLD!

You figure it out.

hey i just posted this ,it can happen anywhere obviously the people that live there thought there was a problem!!!!,or they would not have gone to the trouble of making a new ordinance, your little town might be doing the same thing and most people wont do a thing about it until it is too late!!!!!!!!!!

It is interesting that this is from an Arkansas news media
Not to cast any reflections on Jonesboro, Ark., for it is a nice town full of friendly people, and a couple of old hot rodders http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
On the other hand, I am with Fraz. Do not be too quick to condemn the action until you have seen the cause.

Been that way here in beautiful downtown Gladstone. Had one of my cars setting in the driveway with the outside 2 tires just barely off the driveway and on the grass when a city man stops by to tell me I would have to move it or get a ticket. Its everywhere, its everywhere!

Yes sir. Here in Iowa too. My Bubble Top in a garage port on pavement. Ft. sheetmetal off it. Got the Police Chief in
person and three page's of new city ordn. violation's w/brite blue Highlighter over each one for effect. If you have people over and the driveway is 'split' by the sidewalk and someone park's there.....that's right, ticket. Book 'em Barney!

Jeez!! I thought the civic association @ the house I lived in for about 12 yrs in Houston was bad!!.. I live 3 miles from the nearest paved road, near B.F. Egypt. Way out in the sticks. Gonna have to tow a trailer to pavement unload my 32 when finished so I can drive it but nobody messes with me here. Just gotta keep the wife happy & she bought me rusty 27T tin for my birthday. Civilized society.

Do you vote? If so try to help all of the ones who voted yes to lose the next election and tell them why. In Calif a rep named Floyd got a helmet law passed next election he lost.Start a PAC{pollitical action committe} it gets the elected peoples attention.$$

<font color="red"> To those of you who are supporting this kind of action I tell you this it will not stop ther!....In my town you cannot have a vehicle without current tabs ANYWHERE on your property , only INSIDE....if a neighbor can see it from anywhere on there property then you gotta gewt rid of it....this is one reason my project is slow getting done...I have no garage and must store most of my 27t at my folks house over 1/2 hour away........and that is not where this kind of legislation stops!.....laws also state that you can't have LAWN FURNITURE on your lawn, only on APPROVED patios and deck areas......so just be warned the laws can get out of control real quick once they start passing them.......oh and for all of you in doubt just search Everett City Code enforcement.....wild laws like no shrubs outside of marked flower bed areas.....an berry bushes(includes my neighbor who had them wired up not all wild...no stacks of wood outside(yes this means no fire wood piles even if stacked and covered with a tarp),,,,,,,things can get out of control belive me!.......and the people who get pentalized are not the low income/white trash/deadbeat/drug dealers/scumbags they say the laws are targeted at but the home owners that cannot afford to lose their home so they comply and pay the fines....AH THE ALL MIGHTY DOLLAR HUNGRY MACHINE OF THE STATE

Sorry I went off before. Throwing my opinion around like anyone wants to hear it.
Here is why. Just north of Topeka, KS is a development(will remain nameless). My Uncle has been there for many, many years and has quite a few cars. 66 Galaxie, 64 Falcon, 6? Buick Rivi, 40 FORD Coupe, Plus his two daily drivers. Any one of them you would be proud of to own, sweet rides.
My cousin(his son) and his wife also lives there, but they just bought a house so he will be moving soon. Cuz has Wife's truck, His 67 FORD Pickup body on a 73 3/4 ton 4X4 Military Chassis(his daily driver), 63 Galaxie, 64 Falcon.

They have a two car attached garage + a three car shop out back. All full and LOTS of parts.

Uncle keeps his yard beautiful, TRUE GREEN CHEMLAWN and all.

Here is the deal though, the county has a bounty...that is right a bounty. If you turn your neighbor in for a car parked in the grass or expired tags you get a check for a percentage for each fine your neighbor has to pay.

Sorry but shit like this REALLY pisses me off.

I am again sorry and I am done for now...going to look for land for Big Daddy Eric and I to start our new hot rod religion cult http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I gonna burn this place down.
