I'm trying to find some information on a 54 pakcard clipper 2 door sedan. I stumbled across one at an elderly gentlemans house in my friends neighborhood, and I asked about it..he just said "what'll ya give me?" Uh oh, thats never a good sign, but I figured I'd do a little research on the matter and come back and hit em with some prices, and info. Any sites or anything would be great! Thanks.
Running, or not?
Current tags or no paperwork?
(parts car, $300 max if it's not titleable.)
If it runs or could, and got papers, offer $900-$1000 and go from there.
If if says yes, ya know it was too much but you bought a cool car. If he gets pissed at "so low" then throw it back at him and say that since he doesn't like your offer, how far apart from what he obviously thinks it's worth you are.
Remember, all the "collectible" Packards have stand up grills and were made before WWII so it's just a "nice old car".
(except for a Carribean Convertible that is)

Yeah, it was last registered in 02' It runs and starts, only grey smoke(from sitting I assume), most of the trim is a little rusted, has some bad paint, the windshield has acrack, completely cracked drivers side window and vent window. Interior is nice though, not much rust, mainly surface rust, been converted to 3 on the tree from an auto, straight 8. Like I said, its straight, pretty much rust free, and it runs..thing is I have very little money, I'm trying to talk him down fomr what he thinks its worth. Worst words to hear "what'll you give me?" Lol! I'm just giving it a shot, I;d love a turn key cruiser!
