Would you think if people were banned/blocked for 1 week for posting "PM SENT" in the classified....would it stop the nonsense posts cluttering those threads?

LOL... I gotta agree with that statement, but on the other hand people just seem to not care and it causes continued policing of those threads......if a remedy was set in place, imagine the extra time the moderators and administrator would have to do more upgrades and improvements like they just did seperating the classifieds!
I think the new format they set up rocks!:cool:

Besides, if banned, they might not come back, and one guy would tell his friends we're a bunch of a-holes, and he's tell ten of his friends, and they'd each tell ten of their friends, etc, etc. Nobody would come here anymore, and folks would hate us, whether we're jerks or not, the general consensus would be that we were. This perception could end up extending to the entire hot rod hobby as a whole.

...and i suspect the "pm sent" thing is also a way some people make *dibs* on ads even when their interest is only passing. BUT WAIT WAIT, I POSTED PM SENT FIRST, etc.
it all goes back to the 5% rule. 5% of the people work hard at fucking it up for the rest of us.

That's carbs... and since I finally got them in sinc.... they've been fine.
Wasn't really worried about the retards too much....I just liked what happened in the splitting of the classified section and thought if the moderators had more time, instead if policing idiots....imagine what else they would have time to do for improving the forum.

I wish the classifieds were Alliance members only, then we could loosen up a bit and make posts like the old days.
Cut out the clutter and 1st posters, we would have more room to do more things.
Thier starting to become a modern day Ebay; without the auctions...prices are driving way up because of the clutter.
I used to covet those pages just because of the great deals that could be had for my own projects.
