Everyone loves a banjo. I remember going into a music shop a few years ago, wondering how much a banjo was. I knew if I DID buy one that I wouldn't have the patience to follow through, but I figured that they'd be really cheap,since most people that you associate with playing banjos are back woods hicks. BOY WAS I WRONG. The cheapest one that store had was around $450. And they went WAY up from that price.
