tonight i worked on the bed it had some angle iron welded on the lower panels so i removed them and the fender mounts cut the rust outa the bottom and made some brackets to mount it

I decided to leave the doors how they are cause i would have to redo the whole back of the cab

the bed will sit a inch higher than it is here

my buddy Roger came by in his impala I did alot of work on this car getting it ready for paint and put a new trunk in it

Is that going to be a hidden section under the back? Or is that where the gas tank is going to go?
Looking good... I think it will look good with the bed stock length... everyone else shortens them...

yep hidden sections in the back and full bed also putting a 2 inch lower spring in the back

Slazzen, looking real good man, let me know if you ever need a hand during the week, I'm usually off Mon.- Fri. and could lend a hand. Let me know if your avaliable Mon. or Tues. next week to heat and bend my spindles I really want to start hammer'n on my car so I can drive it to Billetproof!!!!

RPU is comin alone real nice.
Do you have any close ups of your engine mounts? They look like what I need to make for my pu and Ive been struggling with the design.

dream weaver i will take some for you!! but first this is what i used 2x3 thin wall sqr tubing I knotched the top and used a piece of DOM tubing welded that on top found the angle and height i needed and cut that on the other side of the sqr tubing then gusseted it with 3/16 stock
