I put my '56 on the classifieds. I sure hope a Rocketeer adopts it. The price on the HAMB, here is more than fair.
If you'd want to put a small block in with 19 or 20 inch dubs on it, please, be from a long way from my home. And bring more than the price here.

O/T, but I just noticed your tagline, the new Rolling Stone seems to have a tribute to The Genius.

Thanx George. I just hope it goes to a Rocketeer. It keeps up real well on the highway and sure doesn't need a Chevy engine.
Yeah, add Bill Monroe to that list of great ones who live on in our musical hearts.

SOLD! To a good home.
I feel like an idiot for caring who bought this car from me, but damn it!, I do. The buyer is 70 years old, raced at Lions, San Fernando and Irwindale in the 50s and 60s and currently builds Hemis for VRA racers. Neat guy. Gonna defenitely keep the Kettering in it and when I offered him the stock hub caps or the '57 Caddys with Winfield bullet: he went with the Caddys. A hipster for sure. Anyway, I know Yorgatron, 56 ERDY and Jonnykrush and the rest of the Rocketeers will understand. Now I can start on the Holiday.

Plan 9, the guys name is Cliff Roa. He was heading to Long Beach to have lunch with Joe Reath, I'll find out more soon. Neat guy, I hope to see more of him.
George, I bought the K code car because the guy was enchanted by the high prices of scrap steel and I wanted to save it. I'll find a savior for it here on the HAMB. My next passion will be my '49 Holiday. I'll post some pix soon because I'd like some feedback from the folks here. I've come to respect a lot of the opinions expressed here and will consider them before building the next car.But the K code car is in Modesto now. I hope some Rocketeer has the time, space and cash. I'd deliver it in the area or to my place in Lakewood, CA.

Plan9, what kind of work on the Hemi are you looking for? I know a few guys who build Nitro engines. Not sure about street stuff.
George, that would be a good thing to do with the 2 door. Moving it down here is proving to be a hassle. It out weighs my Astro van and it might bekinda exciting to pull it all the way to LA. I acn't wait…
