Got a buddy wanting to slip power steering under his shoebox convertible. He's running a stock front end and a SBC...
I know the Volvo box use to be used but don't know what model or year. Lately, some guy is supposedly selling a G.M. 605 setup...anybody know anything about this?

Didja ever consider the Ford unit that uses a hydraulic ram and direction-sensing valve ? Seems like, with a little mount fabricating, this would be a simple retrofit. I believe it's compatible with a GM P.S. pump.

Try this link. These units are trick, but pricey, to the tune of $800. I guess it depends on how bad you want it. I look at these pretty hard for my '59, but decided it was too much for me.
