Pics wont upload?

I tried uploading pics of my latest project but it says the files are too large. How can i fix this? Thanks Mike

Man, this is just too over my head.......... I have XP and when I keep pictures it takes them to my documents/ my pictures. When I want to send one as an attachment in an e-mail I just hit the attach icon and it opens my pictures double click on my selection and hit send
