At first I thought this was a restoration of a 50's sports car type Hot Rod but it turns oout that the guy just finished it 6 months ago. The Hood is a early Packard narrowed 18 inches. Can't remember what he said the trunk started out as but it's got some neat shit.

It was parked right by me on Saturday, I was next to the bandstand on the east side. You can see the red bandstand in the first picture. He pulled in about 2pm and was still there when I left about 5 pm. Good seeing all of you guy's also.

I like it! I wonder if the trunk area is early Volvo? Dean

Me and Tuck saw that thing. Looked like a VW kinda. The front suspension killed it for me.
Thats a small block chevy Mr kustomcoupe

It looks like one of the little talking cars in a Chevron commercial, oh and the flamed alternator bracket's gay, had some neat touches tho.

Looks like it might be a 30-31 A body widened slightly. If the hood was made from a Packard,I'm betting the deck lid is a 40-42 Packard sedan(similar in shape to a Chev/Olds fastback of the same years).Who cares if it's got a Chevy in it disguised as an Olds;it's a neat looking piece!

The doors are VW, and maybe more of the body too. The front suspension was the WORST though.
Good lines from 20 feet away, but the execution lacked refinement.

Is that a late model Buick grille turned upside-down?
That decklid looks like a Fleetline Chevy (42-48), but I agree that it might be Packard instead.

I'm not a hater. I like the car. It's better than anything I've built.
There are several neat aspects of the car that I like. I try to pick up little ideas from every car, whatever type it is.

To me it looked like a 70's Nova front clip. If it had an old Ford axle it would have been 200% better.
