View Full Version : Does anyone know who owns this car?
I just wanted to know if anyone is familiar with this car and/or the owner. i'd like to know who he/she had do the graphic on the trunk lid and how difficult it was to convert it to a hardtop. thanks a lot.

Had to be a sedan, there is too much room in the back, a good diveaway is the length between the end of the door and the rear package tray. a coupe chopped would be more sloped or oddball looking if stretched that much

yea i agree it had to be a sedan. u can kinda tell where he filled in the b pillers. im in the middle of doing the same on my 50 chev. the hard top conversion isnt that hard. i mean your allready up to your neck in work with the chop so why not go the whole way. that was my thinking. its for sure bagged. u cant get em that low with out bags! i would like to know what them bumber ends are from though???

DirtyT , Those bumper ends are stock items.
I had a chopped '50 Fastback that was also hardtopped and I did all the work myself , including chopping thro' the trunk lid !!
Anyhow , the car started as an original , one owner car from Bethlehem PA. and she came with those ends fitted.
I think they must have been optional because they werent on any of the other 50/51's Ive owned or seen around.
I routed my exhaust tips through mine also.
I agree with previous posters , that car was a sedan.
I have those bumper ends on my 54. I do think they were an aftermarket accessory though.....Warshawsky type deal.
