Here's a few shots from the Nostalgia Drags at Epping, NH on May 30th. I only got a few cause I was working with the crew on the flathead dragster. It's a good day with lots of old race cars and street cars and they put on a real nice show also. They used to only run twice a year, but this year they bumped it up to 3 times. It's all sponsored by local clubs. The next Nostalgia event is July 18th.

Well, I was back in New England for a few weeks, but THAT day was the wedding I was in. I would have been SUPER PISSED if something cool was going on and I missed it.
I'm not sure, but it sounds like the next one will be right around the day of the Road Agents show. It would be cool if NED coordinated it a bit better.

Isn't the Road Agents that Friday and Saturday?
The Drags are on Sunday. It sounds like just another busy weekend!

Ah, I just know that the RA show is usually in the middle of July, right around my birthday. You are probably correct.

Hey LeadSledMerc, I just sent you a message. I'd like to find out more about the red flathead rail job and use it in the next Mag-neto. I'm doing an article on the Nostalgia Drags and am finishing it up this week, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

thanks!

Hey LedSledMerc and all,
I just joined the HAMB and noticed LSMs location...I live in Mattapoisett, next town over!! I own a 1980 GMC stepside (which you may have seen at the Star Diner a couple of weeks ago if you were there), 1937 Nash 2 door with 53000 original miles and just picked up a 35 Ford 5W coupe (project car). Maybe we can hookup sometime. I will be modifying the Nash drivetrain (already started by putting in a GM 12 bolt and am almost done with it). The truck is for sale. The Ford will be "traditional" rod style, or at least what I think a traditional rod is (hot rod primer, steelies and trim rings with caps and WWW, and vintage motor.
