Yeah, another FNG. Have been a member at Chevy Talk and Hotrodders.com for a long time along with numerous other automotive forums and just recently joined at the Studebaker Driver's Club all under a couple different user names. I started with a fresh name here partly because I have a "new" project. I recently acquired a pretty solid '55 Studebaker Commander Coupe with a screamin' 224 V-8 and 3 spd. OD. I happen to be the same vintage as my car. Plans are to keep it as period correct as possible with a Bonneville influence and I'm hoping to keep a Stude V-8 in it or possibly a 50's Cadillac like a 365 to make it a Studillac. Even though I have a gargae full of SBC stuff I can't bring myself to go that route. I'll try to behave but no promises. ;)

Hey Rudebaker. I see you're building a Commander, too. B'ville style, too? Awesome. Planning a chop? I'd like to hash that out, myself. Looking for info on the rear window. What to use? Got any ideas? mine's a 53 Commander with B'ville history (minor) but unchopped as of yet. Needs it though. Bad.
Let's talk. db
