I made a post yesterday and was promptly asked to introduce myself. I'm about 90 miles north of Vancouver BC, married with two kids which I'm trying to put through University (Ouch!). Now the important stuff. I have a 34 ford 2dr sedan running a 350/350 with a trio of 97's (not the greatest for performance, but they sure look horney!). I've owned this car for over 15 years and bought it as a very poorly built driver. I've changed, modified, molested every part on the car and only the tranny has been left untouched. The car is currently receiving a total body refresher trying to correct 70 years of abuse. Its always been black and will remain so with the addition of some real traditional flames. Its going to be shiney for once in its life. This may rub some of you hardcore types the wrong way, but oh well!
I also recently picked up a '72 Cuda. I've always been a hotrodder at heart, but I've always had this mopar itch that needed scratching. Maybe now that its been scratched the rash might go away.
Look forward to hearing from one and all. I understand it could be rough!

That's OK G, I like'em shiny too. I just can't ever afford to make'em that way. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
And the mopar thing never goes away. Once you haul ass mopar style it stays with you. You may do other stuff but it's like a tattoo. LOL
And yeah, we're a mean and evil buncha bastards. As you can see here. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
Welcome and have fun,

I dig the shiney. And I don't mind Mopars. Hell I'm a Buick fan. And I have owned AMC's. There I admitted it....
Welcome to the HAMB.

Thanks for the warm welcome and kind words. Here's a couple of pictures taken before I started the face lift on the body. Unfortunately, the car won't see the road this summer (kinda like losing your best friend). Hope you enjoy them.
Oh yea, almost forgot. Don't see much snow here as we're right on the ocean, but it sure do rain alot! Thanks for asking Paul.
