I've got a set of 53-55 brakes, and a set of 63 brakes.

Our local brake shop lists 64-70 replacement drums, and I was wondering if they are interchangeable with the early drums.
I know that the drums are mounted on the early hubs, and the later drums are seperate from the drums, but are they interchangeable?

thanks in advance

Cheers

Mark

I know that the wheel cylinders are the same up to the 70's, that's what fit my 52' ford truck. All my local parts house did was cross reference the numbers and they were the same, so just try and get them to check the numbers for the drums.

Go here:

and click to the Summer sale flier. Joblot is having a big truck parts sale, and the section on late model brakes has all the interchange info you need 1948-67.
