Finally! Thanks Rashy
The car is called the "Defibulator" or by some...... the
"Kartoon Kar"
It is being built by Larry Foss of Montesano, WA and Bob Biehler of Olympia, WA. It started life as a 5 window and has been cut everyway possible and now is a 3 window. It runs 20" rear tires that are truck tires with the tread ground off.
The shifter sticks out of the open roof and the carb scoop was a wok before Biehler took it off his wifes deck and turned it into a skull. The eyes and mouth both open and shut with linkage on the side hooked to the throttle and of course decorates the top of a Hemi.
I posted some pics of the unfinished project on the test site here. Check em out or maybe I'll post then here below.
Once again........THANKS RASHY!
hahaha love it!
you obviously know how to have FUN!!

I dig it man
if you can not have fun why are you doing what you are doind, I always say
I like it, really, we need more fun back in this stuff, but I'm thinking that you need some color in front of the motor. Maybe a chopped grille shell frame or something, or a big, cartoony moon-style tank, maybe. I dunno.
It's your vision...not downing that at all, but from a design perspective, it's kinda needing a li'l something up front...
Very nice work though, I've been keeping up with the progress shots on the web...you guys had that thing practically upside down in the paint booth. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
I'm diggin the color too.

It's not mine! I just posted the pic's.
I think there is a grille for it and headlights but the radiator is in the trunk. You can see the plumbing for it.
You have to remember........this thing was a 5 window and anyone that massages metal can appreciate the work into this body. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Kool pics Ron!!
I wish guys would do this more often. Not following the current trend
and having the balls to do something different. Looks like you guys jump'd
into the project and the only rule you did have was to have fun.
Keep up the good work and keep us posted on the progress.
Happy Trails,

Just Freakin' Cool!!
It's nice to see someone with the Cajones to be that different.
I'm still not sure if I like the skull....but I think the rest of it is rad.
A big funky Moon tank out front would be cool...

its a hot wheels car - that's all there is to get
it is too cool the way the eyes open up for the air to go in
could you imagine driving that thing around!
is the radiator in the trunk?
He made the "air cleaner" himself out of a wok?
In that case it's bitchin! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

OH MY!!!!
Makes me feel 12 again!
Id like to see someone do that and make it a weekend driver.
Love the color and the stance, the body work is awesome!
The skull "I" could live without but then again I drive a friggin grandpa car so what do I know. The owner/builders like it so thats good enuff for me.
TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!!

It does have a "hot wheels car" look which is interesting
. . .but the skull is kind of "happy meal toy car"
I think engines are beautiful and don't need ventliloquist dummy heads stuck on them, but what do I know.
The PPE is over the top but still shows a love for the hot rod aesthetic . . . this car reminds me more of those goofy overdone billet choppers that all of the Accountants in L.A. ride on the weekends.
Oh, I'm being an asshole again. It does look well done, and shows some real imagination, thanks for posting it.

I kinda like it in a Roth Monster kind of way, but I can't get past those headers, they look great from the side but head on it looks like the head lights should be mounted in them or some thing http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif Like that tubester thing, I did'nt realy care for those headers either. Looks too much like spaghetti. But WOW some damn nice fab work either way.

So it's cool to have a Candy flake skull for a carb scoop but if you put fake valve covers on your a tool? That car is nice and you can see the skill used to build it, but that's about as traditional as Britney Spears wearing a "Von Dutch" shirt and a trucker hat.
Never said it was traditional, just something different. Now go play with Alvin and Simon.
