Got back late last night and just woke up.
I want to thank everyone for coming out and making the show a big success.
Got to meet a bunch of HAMBER's though I know I didn't get introduced to quite a few.
Good to meet HankCash even if there was no sandwich http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Congrat's to 62buford for taking best Hot Rod with his super clean triple carbed flat head Model A. The '62 was a contender for best Kustom too, nice job!
Extra special thanks to those who went all out on exhibits---McPhail and the boys from Omaha for driving dowin in torrential rain---and McPhail with a chopped top and no windshield wipers!!!
Flyrite---need I say more. If there was a best booth competition they would have walked away with it----great vintage motorcycle and tattoo memorabilia and of course awesome bikes and the underpowered EvilFordCoupe http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Russ Eggleston also fought the rain to bring his sick Hemi 28 Dodge pick-up from Iowa. He may not actually use all those carbs but hell, he drives this thing----even in the snow! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Insanely good fabrication---he will definitely be a builder to watch.
World Famous Sonny brought a bunch of cool bikes with nice theme displays (where's his Discovery channel special?)
El Jefe braved the rain to bring Dhalia and Dan Reidy brought the sweet little yellow bucket and was the Patron Saint of the Arts this weekend----I think he bought something from everyone!
I am thrilled that after much hemming and hawing reclusive couple Johnny Ace and the lovely Kali decide to attend and paint up as much as they could---when Kali wasn't getting tattooed anyway! Was it 3 or 4?
BARNETT, Jeff Shea, 59nailhead, Chris Lain and the aforementioned Sonny were striping everything in sight.
Thanks to all the clubs, Beatniks, Kontinentals, Outcasts, Fender Skirts, Coollows, Deadbeats and anyone else I might be forgetting.
Deadbeats lived up to there name by having three members there----none with their cars!!!
Kontinental Club and Big Easy made all the drunks feel at home http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif
I'm sure I'm missing a bunch of personal thank you's but I am worn out.
THANKS EVERYBODY!!!!!!!
