Well... Is GA in the rust belt? I don't even know- but rust seems to be ample around here.
The "Nooj" comes from my last name. I'm new to the old stuff. My dad's always had a ton of projects, and now that I'm settling into my own home, and out of the Marines, I have a chance to pick up a few of my own.

I found the H.A.M.B. by chance. Glad I did- lots of good info and some cool folks.
See ya in the forum-

Welcome, and thank you for serving our country in the Marines. What type of projects strike your interest?

Semper Fi and no GA is not the rust belt. Michigan is. We go to Georgia to find good clean metal.

Michigan? I was way off, ha!

Shoot son- ain't got a garage now... But Pop has a big un

Proto- My main interests are whatever is conveniently at my disposal. My dad has a '49 Plymouth SD 4door. All original- not bad shape, besides needing brakes. I'll probably get ahold of that soon. I wanna rock that flattie 6. FIRST though, I'm gonna help him finish his '36 Ford tudor slantback. He's had that car for 18+ years, and he deserves to be cruising in it.

I got a s10 V8 project, and a 70 Chevelle SS. I've grown a great appreciation for the older stuff though- so hopefully I'll get graced with the opportunity to put some early steel back on the road.

you need to put "Brads" swap meet at "lanier speedway" on the first sunday of every month on your list of things not to miss, some good car parts deals there.
