Another art show off to a good start! Kropduster, I really like it!, Ichoptop, That's going to be a nice hemi.,G V Gordon, I love old drawings!, Jigger, we are on a similar trip this week.
Well , this week I got inspired by a post hillbilly put on about his nightmare truck. His nightmare inspired drawing was so cool , it made me draw my version of his design. The more I did on it , the cooler it looked! What a trip! Hillbilly's post was "Nightmare Truck...sketch".
The other is the truck I had on last week only I cleaned it up some . I promised my good friend Bobby aka, Silent_Orchestra, I would put it on cleaned up, so here it is. And to all you stripers and painters and such, all I can say is , I'm jealous.:D

cast a single pinup girl in aluminum today just to test how i'm spruing and venting her as i worried about shrinkage issue and her extended right leg filling out. what i got was one of the most beautiful castings i have yet done. since i only have her partially bead blasted to remove the ceramic mold and only partially dressed up with the dremel to remove the sprue and vents, she's not ready for me to show off yet... but her face, fellas, her face looks amazing after lightly running it over the buffing wheel. look for an "official debut" in next week's art show.

Hey gang -
Just a quick note to say thanks to those of you who have contacted me and offered to submit artwork for the HAMB Drags Silent Auction. Looks like we may have to reserve a special section just for artwork this year.
If you haven't done so yet, there's still time to contribute. Some VERY cool stuff has shown up - or been pledged and is on the way - but we can use somemore.
If you can't make it to Joplin/Mokan, all it takes is to choose something you have on hand, package it up securely (don't worry about mounting or framing), and toss it in the mail. This is a great chance to show off your talent and help out the HAMB too.
If possible, it would really help to have your stuff by the 20th, or so, as I have lots of swag to get ready for display.
Once again, my address is:
Stan Weber
P.O. Box 81
Firth, NE 68358
Remember, all donors will get a souvenier pin and their names will go into the exclusive drawing (auction donors and helpers only) for an original "Big Sounds of the Drags" record album.
P.S. If you do send something, its really a nice touch to hand sign your art and maybe add a note saying "HAMB Drags 2007", etc. That helps make your art even more desireable.
Thanks in advance for your generosity to the HAMB. If you have any questions, just PM me.
