Indy - just got home, 354 Hemi Desoto wins big!

My buddy's 33 Desoto with the hemi (that I posted some pics of a couple of weeks ago) won an award at Indy - Just because it's neat" There was a couple of traditional A coupes and a real nice 47 Ford coupe that won too. Good to see them recognizing stuff that's hasn't got a $20,000 paint job.

My buddy's flat 12 bucket won, it was cool to see some "nobodies" win some awards. Congrats also go to Hammerin Hank, Roadstar, Plowboy, and any other HAMBer that I failed to mention.

Yeah, Indy was great, lot's of neat cars in the Garage Grown area, was full when I went over there. I also won an award. The Cool Crusier award. Had to give it back though, wasn't able to stick around for Sunday. http://pic8.picturetrail.com/VOL237/1412684/4140317/56585174.jpg

Got to meet a bunch of new H.A.M.B.er's and had a nice talk with Hammering Hank of burnout fame.

BTW that is a Garage Grown paint job done by a 25 year old.
