Here's my set-up:53 F100 backing plates on 41 spindles. My problen is that I ordered a 1/8"NPT to 3 AN adapters to go from my wheel cylinders to the stainless braided lines. What I didn't realize is that the wheel cylinders were 3/16NPT. So, I either need 3/16NPT to 3AN adapters or some 3/16NPT Male to 1/8NPT Female adapters, both of which I searched all day Sat. for, both on the net and around town. I could stack some fittings, but it would look like hell. Am I missing something here? Any help would be greatly appreciated!! http://photo.starblvd.net/nobux/5-1-2.jpg

I've never heard of 3/16"NPT. If the line in your picture is a 3/16" steel line and the flare nut threads in, that is actually 3/8"-24 (fine thread). Then you can use a 3/8" inverted flare X AN-3 adapter.

Any wheel cylinders (Ford) that I ever came across were inverted flare to take a regular brake line. Look inside, don't you see the raised portion that mates with a brake line? The cylinders are not pipe thread.

Call up Inline Tube (advertises in the back of R&C and such), they have most any kind of odd fitting.
