A bunch(about twenty cars) headed out this morning after the rain quit for Vanita, Ok.
That is about 55 miles for me down I44. We met in the Vanita Wallymart parking lot and then trekked the sections of old 66 Hyway that were available.
There is a stretch in Okiehoma that is so rough it makes a washboard(some of you young'ns wont know what that is) look smooth.
Along the way, we stopped at the Miami,Ok Dobson Muesuem and the Baxter,Ks musuem, then on to Joplin to the Dorthea B Hoover Musuem. From there to Carthage,Mo and cuised the square.
Put about 140 miles on the 32.
It perfornmed great, and was very fun to drive.
Driving the Mother road with friends in old cars, life is good.
