I finally got my intake on the truck and it works good. I made a nice linkage for it too. I want to make some nice copper fuel lines for it.

I Really started putting the Hemi Togeather for my coupe. I just think it is to much egine for the car.. It started out as a 392 and I was gonna run 6 2s on it. Then I started seeing alot of people running them. Then I found and 8x2 setup for it.. Finally I really wanted something different and pieced togeather the blower stuff for it. The Problem is my Model A coupe is scary the way it is.. I might just put an unblowm Desoto in it. for now the hemi is nearly ready to run sitting in the living room..

People ask me about that spreader bar all the time.. It was really funny I found it laying in a junk pile. It came out of some big air compressor I think. It was all covered in grease and was black. I picked it up. It was light. I realized it must be aluminum and brought it home. I didn't even bead blast it. I soaked it in soapy water an cleaned it all up. At the time I did it. I didn't even have the money for a stainless spreader bar. Funny how things are when you are broke.. You get really creative..

Looks good. Don't use copper for the fuel lines. It's a fire waiting to happen. Copper gets brittle and cracks. Learned that one the hard way about 35 years ago.

Thanks for the info on the Copper Joe. I didn't know that..
The intake is called an Alexander. I knew once I saw it I had to have it... I looks killer and runs great. Aother really cool thing i that it has cross overs on the underdisde of it. So the fuel can flow side to side also.

oh poop. it took me a while to gather all the parts for the linkage. took a fire extiguisher off the wall and used the hanger for the main bracket. found soem little rod ends off one of the other intakes. Then actually took a 1/2" brass rod and turned it down on the lathe. since the size to fit the ends is between 1/4 and 5/16.. and I could not find a smaller piece of Brass..
EVEL we need to have a bash at the "Poon Palace" at the end of summer..been pretty quiet lately Maybe for my B day..
