Has anyone seen or put a BBC in a '47-54 Chevy truck with the s-10 frame job?

If not, all you s-10 frame swappers, do ya think one would fit?

well can you put a big block in a "unspoken words" frame? better look at new springs custom radiator to fit need more cooling than a small block,is the frame already in the truck? that would make sizing it easier,,those trucks should hava big block to fillup the hood area,

i've done it with a MII crossmember in mine. the spun a ros bearing so the sbc is in it for now. exhaust was the only problem i had, made my own headers.

Yes, rat's have gone into those frame rail's.The major aftermarket source's (Trans Dapt)(email for more info) will have the basic intall kit's,header, cooling, ect. Firewall clearance wlll be something to watch for.Where the 'clip' was spliced to orig.frame, axl centerline/wheel well opening too. And like other HAMBer wrote spring rate's.
