Pabstbelly,
Start by doing a google search on Zora Arkus Duntov.
There is a lot written about the man because he made a lot of automotive history.
I cheated you out of a "L" in your name as punishment for not knowing http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Get the latest issue of The Rodder's Journal for some excellent info on the Ardun.
Problem is, after reading it you'll want one too!!!

I think you mean 13K.
I,m glad I bought mine 18 years ago.i could not afford them now.
How many of you guys know that duntov made 2 different types of Ardun head. The first couple of hundred heads have the water necks on the front of the head. The rest have the outlet in the middle-Opposite of a flathead.
My heads are numbered 242 and 243.

Arduns are cool, no question. But if I have a set of those heads I'd sell them and build an entire car with the proceeds. And at a $30K sales price that car could easily have an aluminum-block FE for power...
