Time to break up the general discussion and Classifieds?

It is getting to be a pain to keep up on this board. You post something and in litterally hours it is pages back. Is it time to break up the classifieds further into maybe a few more areas....Vehicles for sale, parts for sale, misc? Also maybe break down the general discussion into separate areas like engine talk, suspension talk, general discussion, artwork...and on and on? This way if you want to keep up on one area and not the others, you don't have to search through 250 topics to pick out the two or three you want. Any thoughts on this?

I think we will do the classifieds in that manner fairly soon... Breaking up the general discussion area is something I've always wanted to (although not in the way you mentioned), but have always faced stiff opposition...

Until then, I find the subscription feature very handy. I subscribe to all threads I post to and then subscribe to others that I want to see new posts to even if I haven't added anything myself.

Then I just click on the "manage your account" button up top and it shows me if there are any new additions to the posts I'm interested in.

It is definitely time to split the classifieds.

don't change it . if you do the HAMB will be like any other hot rod forum. besides the HAMB is like a bunch of hot rodders sitting around the garage or under a shad tree shotting the shit. that's my opinion
