Newbie From San Jo

My name is Dave .. I've been into this stuff for a long time .
Started when I was about 13 with karts (with scrub brakes) and mini bikes on model airplane fuel....pop!
My very first car was a 1948 Plymouth coupe set up nose bleed gasser style..
Mopar milk-truck front axel,55Chevy rear ,327 sbc, home made headers that leaked ,..a true east coast rust bucket .....a piece of crap ..I loved it ! Daily driver!
fast forward about 100 years...got into racing shifter karts.....to much fun!..
sold it all off and got a basketcase 31' model, A 70's rod ...chopped it bla..bla..drive it..
joined STARNGERS cc here in San Jose...and life is good.
Im currently working on converting a drag car (older chevy vega pro stock )
into a dry lakes car, on a budget... LOL....,Ill be askin you guys for some help on this one....THE H.A.M.B. ROCKS! ...........Uncle Dave

I lived in San Jose for 36 years....
My advice for Bonneville...GO FAST! Hope that helps!:D
