Thanks for your words, guys !
Sorry, but it's not a vintage race car, and for now, it's the almost stock engine, a 273 SB Mopar, with a Offy intake and Holley carb...
But it's a loooow budget project, big transformations are not for now...found cheap tranny, engines or rear end is not easy here in France...
Detailled informations about the "Greasy cat" Dodge on my website (address below), in the "Dart project" section....

Just checked out the site.
I really dig what your doing.
Not too many folks trying to build super stocks.
Here's hoping you can hop her up anough to complete the idea.
The cat looks great.

Too bad, it's a good thing to do with those unpopular mid 60's cars..
I really dig the super stock look. My '63 Impala is painted white, sits a little nose high and rolls on white steelies with big black wall tires. Seeing Empire's Dart has inspired me to put some lettering on her. I've already got the lettering pretty well planned out, I now need to execute it. Then all I'll need to do is rebuild and enhance my very tired 327 (227,000 miles) so I'll have some bite to go with the bark.

I dig it man. I like to see cars like that. Even if it is a Mopar.
My girlfriend is building a 61 belair superstock styled car. It has a bigblock with snaky hooker headers and the eelco balljoint spacers are on the way. It now has an auto trans but I have a line on a 4 speed for it. I will post pictures tonight if I can find some of it.
Does anyone know of any good websites to visit to see cars like this. I have searched but find mostly junk.
Keep us posted on that thing. Looks bad ass.

I got a book called "super stock, racing the family sedan" by Larry Davis. Lots of awesome pix, even if some of the info is skewed. But he credits alot of the pix to matchracemadness.com. Never been there, but might be worth a try.
Awesome car Empire... a real attention getter over there for sure! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
