Does someone make a skirt, other than the flush mount, for a '49-'50 Chevy? I've seen some pics of some that look like they have a slight bubble to them and fit over the opening instead of in it. Are they made for this application or is it something someone has custom fitted?

Night Prowlers have a fiberglass skirt that fits over the opening and has a flared lip too. Check out their website. I have a pair of 50 Olds skirts that have the fared lip but fit flush inside the whell opening like regular chevy skirts. I may end up extending them downward to really fill the space.

the flush ones with the flared opening sound cool!

Thanks. I was just looking for something different than stock.
This is what I had seen.

I made my own for my 52.
First made up a pattern

then I had a mate make a mould and then we layed them up in fibreglass.

Very nice FatnLow. I like those. It just seems that you mostly see '49-'52s with stock skirts. A pair of crusier skirts (like yours) is a refereshing change and adds a real "custom" look to the car.

Donnie,
I've got a Night Prowlers catalog that has a bunch of different skirts styles in it. I'll bring it to breakfast next time we get together.
