Also I am sorry but I am pretty sure I messed up some of my old art posts when I moved some of my
Photobucket files to a new folder. So if you see some red X's in some of the old archives , Im sorry.
I think from now on I will do it this way with both a embeded image and a Photobucket version.

Thought this was a good time to make a first post on here, as the piece below is based on a photo I found here on the HAMB a while ago by Jack Criswell. Added a little pinstriping and lettering just for fun, but it still looks kind of boring with nothing going on in the background, but now I know that till the next time I paint something similar. All 1-Shot on canvas.<O:p</O:p

I’m really amazed by the talent that’s shown in these Friday art show threads and will from now on try to post new stuff when I got something worth showing, great work everyone.<O:p</O:p

Hey everybody, another great art show, we are all very lucky ! Jigger, everytime I want to draw a hot girl, I get almost done and then she'll say in my head, I want to get undressed, I draw that , then one thing leads to another and I'm sitting there with a little sweat on my forehead and I feel the need for a cigarette. Maybe it's just me. But that last one , she's talking to me!:D
Zombie, you're so damn good , I almost want to give up . Your hittin all my switches.
I got to start drawing stuff. I been busy on 40 coupe, its almost ready to paint. Real car. Heres some old ones. Bonneville scene was a real quicky I did at work one day, and a couple of T's.

Thanks. I was going to offer a limited run of Giclée canvases (big but pricey). However, since I've had a good response I'm thinking of doing lithograph posters - just not sure if a square poster makes sense...would probably require a custom frame.

Meteor - What's wrong with square posters? Custom frames are a cinch and really pretty cheap if you buy your own pieces at a craft store (no, I'm not gay, but it's a good place for art supplies!) and you can get your glass cut ata hardware store for pennies. Really, it doesn't cost that much to make a square frame (for those who are interested in one of these badass prints) and it sure wouldn't stop me from wanting one. PLEASE!?!?!?

Really damn nice work boys and girls.
Zombie, that biker is friggin' awesome.
Meteor, great work. Since nowadays vinyl LPs are more suited for framing than listening so a lot of hobby stores have "album sized" square frames in various sizes for matting etc. (I wouldn't know about those faggy craft stores that Gigantor hangs out in :D ).

It has been a long time coming. I have been laying low trying to creatively pay bills without losing my SOUL. Then out of the blue I start looking through the Asphalt Invitational photos and spot the 57 gasser. Well if that picture was not INSPIRATION! So into illustrator it goes for some quick line work. Fixed the body by turning it into a WAGON and gave it some fenderwell headers.
WALLAH! The art for my newest poster. These however will be 18" x 24"! I had a new little bugger follow me home last week and am ready for going big with the prints! I have transfered the art to my linoleum and started cutting last night.
One month till the drags! That is where they wll debuet in a limited signed quantity. I need to relook throught the Asphalt Invitational photos but to the photographer you will have a complementary one on hold for you.

Killer show guys...zombie...I bow to you as always!!
Just finished these....been playing with chalk on canvas and found a technique of building layers by using clear lacquer between each stage then a final sealer coat...

once again ...incredible work everyone, you guys all rock!
we'll ...I got sent a 000 striping brush from oldbobsign and got some cool tips from TBonez here on the hamb (thanks guys) and here's my first attempt at striping. The one thing i found out and learned was that "oneshot" doesn't work very well on wood and it bleeds, if it's not sealed:(
I have to give it up to all you stripers out there, this stuff is not easy and super difficult to do. This is gonna take awhile before i get it!

This other piece is a art collaboration that just got sent back to me with another artist named Johnny Rodriguez who is a very amazing and talented painter, check out that helmet!

Nice job with the striping Cab. I learned that lesson myself on my first striping on raw wood.

It will be much easier on a smooth surface.
If it still bleeds,it might be because you are
using too much Reducer,or adding too much Penetrol.
