here it is, some of you knew this was coming and now i have the details. the show is in memory of Steven Turner, our friend and fellow hot rodder who passed away this past winter. many of you met him at the Hot Rod Rumble last July, he drove the Ford powered, manualy shifted, fenderless 34 Ford tudor in grey primer. he was a HARD CORE Hot Rodder all the way.
anyhow, i have the date and time for ya'll and the phone number and email address you can use to get directions from wherever it is you are. it will be held at Dave Shuten's home and (VERY nice) shop in Dorr Michigan (just south of Grand Rapids).
here is the skinny: DATE-June 19th, TIME- 10am till whenever. no money required just bring a dish to pass.
contact Dave Shuten afternoons and evenings at 1-616-681-9062 or email anytime at DMSHUTEN@aol.com
it'll be a great time with some great people. Steven's brother Dan Turner will be debuting his "Allen Special" 1918 Dodge "modified" at this show. plus you will get to see a great collection of cool car parts and other car related "junk" in Dave's [bigger than he needs] shop. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif you might even get a glimpse of his VERY Top Secret project that i'm not allowed to tell you about. it'll be a show not to be missed for any semi-local HAMBers.
contact Dave for more info and directions. thats less than two weeks from this posting so put it on your schedule, if your not going to make it to the Hot Rod Reunion.
