new person, not boy,
My father-in-law died in December, we are trying to sort things together and it ain't easy, I need to figure out where to look to find the value of his 1941 Model B Allis Chalmers tractor, that he restored and it looks brand new, no-one in the family has a place to keep it and we have found a good home for it but we have no idea what it is worth.
the 2nd thing is we, my husband and I, inherited the 1941 Ford Flat Head Coupe, that Mike (husband) and his father were building when he died. Mike has a lot of items he will want to get rid of and I am assuming that I will be able to list them here and you will help me find homes for them.
Will check back later today to see if anyone can help on the Allis Chalmers.

part 2,
My Father In Law with the assistants of my husband when he was younger, restored a 1948 Buick, it is BEAUTIFUL
http://www.angimarek.com/13.jpg
Since he recently passed, and there is nowhere it can be stored, they are unwillingly selling it, I have asked my mother in law for info to list here, It will be listed in Hemmings next month I am told, I hope I spelled that right.
Anyway, here is what she sent me...
1948 Buick Super Convertible
248 cubic engine, in line 8 cylinder, frame off restoration, cadet blue,
red interior, red trim ontan canvas top, trippee lights installed. Many
awards in this class since restoration.
They are asking $45,000 and it is worth every penny, makes me teary eyed to think about it leaving the family.

i having gone thur what your husband is going thur now, i suggest that you just store it for a year and then make a move on it. right now feelings are pretty tender and belive it or not it will get better, after a period of time the car that they were working on together will become more valuable to him in very fond memories and it can also be handed down thur time to other loved ones that will keep it in the family.

I think you misunderstand
the 1941 Ford Coupe which they were working on when he got sick, is not being sold, my husband is finishing it, his mother gave it to him, along with a shop full of tools and things that Dan (father in law) had picked up for it at flea markets etc over the past 10 years while they were planning it.
the 1948 Buick is finished, and has been for a long time, as you can see the picture is from my wedding 19 years ago. It looks only better now as very little miles were put on it and it has received a new top and I remember him talking about spotlights, which he may have installed.
The Allis Chalmers tractor is also completely restored, has a mower deck, and is for sale, they are looking for somewhere between 6 and 7 grand, If anyone knows anyone that might be interested, drop me a line and I will put you in touch with the widow, angi@angimarek.com
