My name is Mike, I live in Colorado Springs and I am really into old cars. Last year I picked up a 1951 chevy 3100 that is my daily driver. I am working on it as I drive it... I have learned a lot in the process and I hope to learn more by listening to you guys..
as of right now I have dropped the front 6 inches with a dropped axle and a few leaf springs removed... I plan to use 2 inch lowering blocks on the rear... I have a full oil pressure 235 in the truck and it is 6 volt..It will stay 6 volt as it always starts and give me no trouble even in the colorado winters... the 235 will get dual carbs and a fenton exhaust... Ideally I would like to throw a vintage supercharger on my 6. McCullough with it's own oil pump would be ideal..
It is a work in progress but I drive it every day and it's a blast..
I rescued it from a farm in the mountains and I have been very busy un-farming it.. I will throw in a few pics Jut remember it is a work in progress.. http://i95.photobucket.com/albums/l129/mikelamphere/102-0300_IMG.jpg
