Is it possible to have too many project.???

Well, I went to the Pamona Swap Saturday Night and ran into this little custom for sale; 1954 Plymouth Deluxe Special.
Its shaved, nosed, decked, frenched HL, Customary Red Steelies on thin whites, lowered too. The only problem was a thrown rod in its flatty 6 (damn!!! a hole right in the side of the block) but im looking to toss a V8 of some kind in her to and her on the road. The price was right and I could not pass up the deal. The body lines on this car are one of my favorites...Picked her up for $900.00 Im debating on putting her under the knife and chopping the top, but for sure frenching the rear...any suggestions.

Needless to say my wife was a bit irritated...or pissed you might say. I told her of another project im getting this weekend...27T Roadster....I think im out of control... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

Today I pulled the motor and trans...what a pain in the bung hole...these Plymouths are built backwards I say... Everything in the car works...but the motor..heh.

Too many projects? Only if they arent getting built. And to answer your tag line...to make a ford faster. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Hey, if it'll help save your marriage, I'll take that 27 roadster off your hands!

Yes, you can have too many. I'm not even going to try to list them. I'm still trying to get up the courage to do what Rocky did and get rid of all except one important one... because I'm getting nothing done on any of them.

why not keep it mopar drivetrain. 318 v8 or you couild even go with a slant 6 for drivability. i believe either will bolt to the stock trans but i could be wrong it happened before. to bad your so far away i've got a rebuilt 260 v8 that i'll be pulling out of my '55 plymouth to put a 318 in it. will probably end up keeping it in there til theres a prob and then switch it out and put a volare clip under it while there. looks like a cool little project and yeah i'm finding that from now on i'm not gonna start another project til the current ones done. deals will kill you. hard to pass 'em up but when you get to much stuff you lose focus and don't get shit done. good luck...ken....
