In the "replies" column, is the number of people in the ( ) the number of people currently viewing the thread?

The parenthesized number is the number of replies since you've last visited that part of the board. For example, if the replies to this says '2(1)', there are two replies, and one of them was posted since you were last in 'Questions and Suggestions'.
