Wasn't someone looking for a Bug roof to make some Fender Skirts??
Okay....Looking good really. Got cooling? How well does that set up work? Still have the factory tin on the engine?

yeh, still runs the factory tin - well, modified factory tin. Don't know if you can make it out in the second pic, but the rear number plate is spaced of the decklid, there are about 6 3" holes drilled in there to aid cooling too

hahaha - seems a shame to have such nice wheels on such a shitter eh? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif In case your interested, the rears are 2 piece spun aluminum ERCOs, very very light (and mine are the slightly less illegal road weight versions)
thesamba? shiney expensive vans? naaaaaah http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif My girly has the 'shiney car' in the family, 1970 VW type 3 fastback, and it's gorgeous.... but nothing beats thrashing a FWD rude bwoy mobile at the lights in a 60 year old car design covered in dust and shit http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

woooooaaah!
That is seriously nice! Sometimes hot-rod bugs can look a bit wrong, but that is totally spot on! It looks like fun on a bun! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
The motor is currently (until funds allow) a 1641cc unit (about 5ci? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif) but with a longer duration cam, bigger valve heads, ratio rockers and twin 40mm carbs - but with all the weight stripped out of her she flys!!

Cheers mate, it's kind of a 'work in progress' thing, i add them when i've got them!
It's also a rip off of the famous white and orange Gene Berg 'Wheelie' bug that has a similar interior (and stickers mounted on the front beam scuff guard, which is on view when it lifts the front wheels in the first 3 gears down the 1/4mile http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif)
